Performance Analysis
Despite the One Hundred's bargain £42 price, it performed incredibly well in our thermal tests. With the fans spinning at their (clearly audible) full speed, the CPU peaked at 47°C above ambient, which is a storming result, while the GPU peaked at 40°C above ambient. This is cooler than the SilverStone Raven RV02, albeit with its fans at their quietest setting. Turning down the One Hundred's fans to the low setting reduced the noise considerably, and while temperatures rose, the increase wasn't alarming. The peak delta T of 51°C for the CPU and 43°C for the GPU are reasonable, if not spectacular.

Conclusion
While it's easy to be caught up in the world of ultra-high-end cases with water-cooling support and cavernous interiors, the One Hundred is a reminder that you don't need to break the bank to acquire an extremely capable case. Its simple layout makes it wonderfully easy to work with, which means it's ideal for both rookie system builders and those who just want to take care of the basics. There's also plenty of room for expansion. While it may not turn any heads, chill your hardware to sub-zero temperatures or have the capacity to house a small army, the One Hundred offers everything a budget case needs to provide and more.
